Babaei is inspired by her observations of nature, especially in her hometown of Gilan, and the combination of urban life and complex human relations. The collection on display is a continuation of the artist’s previous collections with the difference that most of her recent paintings are no longer photo based.

They are imaginative images that have become more internalized through the repetitions and solid structure of tones. In order to be able to improvise, the artist has chosen larger surfaces, which along with the use of a wide range of grays, genuine compositions and bold acrylic brush marks, has given an appealing visual diversity to this collection.
