“Fast Forward” is a collection of works selected and executed by Freya/Espinas Art Gallery in collaboration with Iranshahr Gallery. The works on display at this show perpetually change, creating a dynamic and ever-changing
exhibit.
”Fast Forward” is formed based on the idea of the works which are not seen, less seen or are part of the latest body of works of an artist, providing an opportunity to look at the world of the artists from a new and often different view.
Art is made of selection, and our image of an artist is based on their carefully curated work.
First, the artist selects which works to show, and later an individual decides which pieces are fit to be presented to the public or private audience. Meanwhile, every artist has a world in which they experiment and create other works that might not get the chance to be seen or displayed. We never have this chance to observe an artist›s works fully; there›s always something hidden, something left in the shadows.
In ”Fast Forward”, we face a different world from what was previously seen and familiar. A world full of new and pleasant surprises created in a mindset different from what we know of the artist.
