- Seppuku
- Seppuku is a form of Japanese ritual suicide by disembowelment. it was originally reserved for samurai, but also practiced by other Japanese people later on to restore honour for themselves or for their families.
- In this series that i have symbolically named them seppuku, i was trying to picture the daily struggle of us in either our personal or social life. you can never say that the women in this series of paintings are good or evil, nor you can say they are alive or dead. the only thing you can see is that each one of them has just had a fight and they have earned their wings by their honour and their bravery.
- The Edge of the Cloud
- You imagine that i am talking to you, that you are about to watch a saturated, colourful story.
- I know that i am stuck in abeyance, in the middle of nowhere, that i am suspended on the edge of the cloud. i know that the ecanescnet humidity of the clouds creates smooth vibrations, similar to meaningful words, by passing through my vocals cord. form this washy edge I look deep into the skies and see an image of you that is so much sharper than the real you.
