The endless column

The depicted tree has long reflected the mankind, their wishes and beliefs. This image has been born by a world filled with mysteries and has come to existence from myths along with innovative meanings. A tree, its feet graved in the soil and its head up in the sky, has always been named "Column of universe" is the symbol of transformation and evolution while it stands still. Through a pre-determined rhythm, it grows, dies and regrows. This sacred symbol of the nature, has created too many allegorical beliefs everywhere in the world of images and mysteries, somewhere its holiness is worshipped, somewhere a guard which protects and somewhere a calendar indicates the turn of the time with its changes. It seems the myths are repeated today and the life of the trees are threatened by the dirt and fatal gases of the environment which are playing the role of evil in the myths. It is now our turn to protect the creatures who had sheltered and saved us one day. This endless column with its roots in the soil and its hands towards the sky, seeks water and life.
