After more than half a century of professional activity, Gholam Hossein Nami is now known as one of the prominent figures in the modern Iranian art. His presence in all these years, as an artist and an influential figure in many events related to the visual space of Iran, with a wide range, from working in a free group of painters and sculptors, to teaching and writing educational books or helping in mass movements, such as The establishment of the Iranian Painters' Association has given him a worthy position. Aria Gallery, in the fifth chapter of the program for re-reading modern Iranian art, has displayed a selection of different periods of this eighty-six-year-old artist, with a spectacular but continuous variety, on its walls.
