Shantia Zaker Ameli was born in Isfahan in 1980. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Painting from the University of Art in Isfahan in 2003, followed by a Master's degree from the Frank Mohr Institute in the Netherlands in 2020.
Zaker Ameli debuted his first solo exhibition at Mah Gallery in Tehran in 2007. Since then, he has showcased his artworks in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Iran and abroad. Some notable exhibitions include the Sixth Biennial of Painting (2003), the Fourth Biennial of Islamic Painting (2006), Art Space Gallery in England (2007), Art Fair Dubai (2011), and Contemporary Istanbul (2011).
His artistic inspiration often stems from everyday photographs, landscapes, and newspapers, which occasionally carry political themes. Known for their realistic portrayal, his works also feature bold and expressive brushwork.
