About Amir Khojasteh
Amir Khojasteh, is a contemporary Iranian artist who was born in Tehran in 1367 and graduated from Marlik University, Nowshahr in graphic design in 2012. In 2010’s, this artist has been exhibited in various exhibitions and also in many renowned galleries such as Carbon 12 Gallery.
Khojesteh's works have been included in prominent auctions, the first of which dates back to Sotheby's 2019. This painter and sculptor have also received many awards during his professional lifetime, including the first prize of the "Persbook" competition.
In his works, Khojesteh, plays with the concept of fear by depicting expressive portraits. This artist is mostly inspired by the political conditions, especially in Iran, and the events that affect the lives of the people of the world. Khojasteh also refers to the history of art, popular culture and his personal life in his works.
In recent years, besides painting, Khojasteh also creates three dimentional works and his arts have been exhibited in prominent art fairs such as NADA, Artsy, and Art Dubai.
