In continuation of his previous series, Nourani presents a collection of large-scale canvases where he seeks to evoke a distinctly painterly sensibility, exploring the qualities of the medium. This approach not only emphasizes the physicality of painting but also reflects his ongoing dialogue with the traditions of Renaissance painting and contemporary art, creating works that are both introspective and visually dynamic.
By depicting nature, combining footprints of human life, the artist has gained the perception of nature without recreating reality directly.
Once again, he follows the tradition of working on multiple pieces simultaneously, allowing the creative process to flow organically across various canvases. Each work undergoes significant transformations over time, as layers are added, removed or reworked, resulting in a constant evolution of the composition. This method embraces the fluid and unpredictable nature of artistic development, where each piece eventually emerges as a distinct and independent artwork, shaped by the passage of time and the artist’s evolving vision.
