Mallet, Japan, holds an auction for modern and contemporary art on 19 May 2022 with a preview day on 18 May for potential buyers to visit the artworks closely.

Mallet Auction is one of the oldest and most prestigious auction houses in Japan focusing on modern and contemporary art. It was established in Tokyo in 2005 and its headquarter is still in this city. With its successful auctions featuring artworks from well-known artists like Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Yayoi Kusama, Lee Ufan, and Marc Chagall, Mallet got noticed by the international art market which led to its close relation with art markets in many different countries.
