  • Arabic manuscript on cream paper, 245 leaves plus 4 fly-leaves, 15 lines to the page, written in black naskh, ruled in blue, red, green and gold, verses separated by polychrome and gold rosettes, verse markers in the margins, surah headings in red cursive against a gold ground within polychrome cartouches, f.2b and 3a with a gold and polychrome opening frontispiece, preceded by an illuminated double page with roundels filled with prayers, in a fine lacquer binding decorated with interlacing scrolls
