Taher Pourheidari was born in 1984 in Rafsanjan and graduated with a master's degree in painting from the Tehran University of Arts.
Pourheidari has shown the collections "Hal-e Kamel", "Trees and Pines", "Nezamabadi" and "Aroos-e Ziba" in his repertoire. His first solo exhibition was held in 2011 with the "Nizamabadi" collection. In his works, Pourheidari represents the architecture of Iran and Tehran in particular, and takes a distinctive approach in this direction. He creates significant artworks with his unique use of coloring and form. His color palette is more focused on gray and he usually uses a palette knife to paint.
Pourheidari is a painter from Tehran. He shows the city with all its details in such a way that the human behavior and moods of buildings and trees are transferred to the audience. The architecture and the trees somehow express the mood of the society, and this concept in Pourheidari's works seems to function with a hint of personification. This artist has considered the contrast between today's architecture and that of the past. The path of creating his works begins with photography, passes through his mental world and then turns into painting.
