Soroosh Milanizadeh, photographer, video artist, and performer, was born in Tehran. His university education was in photography, and he received a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Art and Architecture of Tehran University. The professional activity of this artist began in 1999 and has continued until today.
Milanizadeh's photos have always been linked to his social concerns. Women and their issues form a significant part of his photographs' subjects. He has brought his social view to the fore in various media. Among these, we can mention the design and direction of the performance "Woman-Dream-Nightmare" and the video performance "Hidden, under the shadow of silence."
So far, Milanzadeh has participated in more than 23 group exhibitions of painting, photography, and video art. He has experience in side fields such as theater design and lighting, theater photography, cinema, and television. He has also been teaching photography and lighting as a lecturer.
