Reza Sharifi was born in 1976 and has been photographing professionally since 1996. During almost 25 years of activity, Sharifi has tried different genres of photography and different methods in theater, film and advertising. Sharifi is usually inspired by dreams, memories and death in his works and tries to find a visual equivalent for these concepts. Sharifi has participated in several group exhibitions and has been honored by the art photography department in the 13th photography biennial.
In some of his recent works, we see a lonely and empty corner of human existence. Sharif's use of black-and-white film and the effect of technical errors have caused some of his other works to have an eerie atmosphere, and for this reason, the photographs have a greater meaning regardless of the scene they show.
