His works are kept in prestigious international public and private collections.
Aydin Aghdashloo said following words about Mehrdad Shoghi Haghdoost: "Mehrdad Shoghi is one of the best and most reliable artists in the field of calligraphy or modern calligraphy. He portrays calligraphy in a completely modern and contemporary way, and he has deservedly earned and relied on his special and prominent position during several decades of deep and fruitful research. In his later works, there are only hints of fascination with the Kufic script of a thousand years ago but the attention to it is much more than the fidelity to the manners, attention to space and rhythm and composition. They are designs of a designer that are completely in harmony with the level, taste, and quality of contemporary art, therefore a completely new language is achieved."
