Ladan Boroujerdi, born in 1971 in Tehran, earned her Bachelor's degree in Painting from Alzahra University in 1996. In the same year, she held her first solo exhibition, titled "Woven Artworks," at Naqsh-e Jahan Gallery in Isfahan. Over a decade later, in 2008, her second solo exhibition was held at Abtin Gallery in Tehran.
Boroujerdi’s works are inspired by traditional Persian miniature painting and executed using classic techniques such as watercolor and gouache. Initially focused on replicating traditional miniatures, she gradually developed her unique artistic language, merging classical elements with contemporary themes. Throughout her career, she has participated in over 35 solo and group exhibitions, with her art showcased at prestigious international art fairs, including Art Miami and Art Basel.
This refined style, blending historical aesthetics with modern concepts, has solidified Boroujerdi’s position in the Iranian art scene and beyond.
