Koorosh Golnari was born in 1964. He completed his bachelor's degree in sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran. Later, he pursued his master's degree in art research at Tehran University of Art. Golnari's first exhibition experience took place in 1999 at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. Afterward, his works have been displayed in numerous solo and group exhibitions.

During his artistic career, Golnari has received numerous awards, including: the first prize of the visual arts festival of the students of the country at the University of Arts in 1998, the winner of the fifth biennial of contemporary sculpture in Tehran in 2007, and the winner of the first biennial of urban sculptures in Barg Gallery in 2008. Additionally, Golnari was also the secretary of the first sculpture expo in Tehran.
