Hoofer Haghigi was born in 1983 and has a master's degree in photography. Haghigi started his professional career in photography in 2001 and his works have been exhibited in more than 30 individual and group exhibitions in Iran and countries such as England, Canada and Scotland. In addition to photography, he is a curator, author and photography teacher and has curated several group exhibitions. The first solo show of Hoofer Haghighi's works titled "In a safe place" was held in 2008 at the Iranian Artists’ Forum.
Haghigi pays close attention to the installation of his photos and considers photography beyond a simple frame with an emphasis on occupying the space. To Him environment and space are important, and considering that each space is unique, his photos affect the audience according to the differences and diversity of their surroundings. Everyday life and any context related to the expression of this subject interests him and the city is perhaps one of the most important spaces in his works. Analog photography and the use of negatives have played a role in the presentation of his art.
