Flora Feizbakhsh, painter, was born in Babol in 1956. She has a bachelor's degree in Social Economy. Feizbakhsh started her career in 1986. She lives and works in California. The works of this artist have been exhibited in Iran, Canada, United Kingdom and Italy.
Flora Feizbakhsh was a member of the Iranian Painters Association and also a junior painting teacher in the 1990’s. The first solo exhibition of this artist was held at Aria Art Gallery in 1995. Feizbakhsh has had numerous solo and group exhibitions, this painter also held several exhibitions in collaboration with Hannibal Alkhas.
Feizbakhsh’s works are in the move between abstraction and landscape painting; Botanical elements are an integral part of this artist's work, which are pictured in detail on the canvas, the shape and arrangement of leaves and trunks are reminiscent of trees such as willow, maple or elm. The color palette shows different seasons. In her latest paintings, Feizbakhsh, moves toward depicting dystopian images that are different from landscape painting.
The first appearance of Flora Feizbakhsh in auctions dates back to 2015 at the Tehran auction.
