Doostali Moayyer known as Doostali Moayyeri, Doostali Moayyer Ol Mamalek, or Doostali Khan Moayyer Ol Mamalek (the same name as his grandfather) was the son of Doost Mohammad Khan and one of Nasser al-Din Shah Qajar’s grandchildren. He was born in Tehran in 1874. Doostali Moayyer studied at Dar al-Funun as a teenager and then went to Paris to continue his studies in painting. In terms of time, his residence in Paris coincided with the presence of Kamal ol-Molk in this city.
One of his works appeared in the Tehran auction for the first time in 2017 and was finally sold with a growth rate of 128% (more than twice the average estimate). Although Doostali was not a student of Kamal ol-Molk, his works’ style are similar to Kamal ol-Molk and his students. Moayyeri did not sell his works because he never needed money; This has caused few of his works to be available in the market. Some of this artist's paintings are kept in the treasury of Tehran's Golestan Palace, Tehran's Sepah Bank Museum and several private collections.
He is known among the people for publishing the book "Notes of the private life of Nasser al-Din Shah". Ferdows Garden in Tehran was built by his uncle Hossein Ali Khan Moayyer Ol Mamalek. He died in this garden in 1966. He and his wife's tombs are located in Imamzadeh Abdollah in Shahr-e-Rey.
