Ataollah Zinouri, born in 1944 in Kermanshah, Iran, is a prominent Iranian painter and calligrapher. He learned the fundamentals of painting and calligraphy under the guidance of masters Ajilchi and Ettehad in his hometown.
In 1968, Zinouri began working as a calligrapher and designer at the National Geographic Organization of Iran. A year later, in 1969, he earned his calligraphy certification from the Iranian Calligraphers Association. In 2012, he was awarded the first-degree art medal, equivalent to a doctoral degree, in recognition of his artistic contributions.
Zinouri’s works have been showcased in numerous exhibitions in Iran and abroad, including notable displays in Australia, Russia, the United Kingdom, and Dubai. Additionally, a book featuring a collection of his works was published by Negar Publications in 2004.
