Mohammadjafar Pakravan, a contemporary Iranian artist born in 1984 in Mashhad, began his artistic education in 2001, studying design under the guidance of Mohammad Hossein Vahed. He continued his artistic journey under the mentorship of Ali Sadatipur at the Jihad University Cultural Center.
Pakravan’s first exhibition took place in 2008 during his studies at the Faculty of Art, Ferdowsi University. After completing his degree at Ferdowsi University, Pakravan pursued further academic studies in painting and obtained a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Art and Architecture, Azad University, Tehran.
In 2012, Pakravan's first solo exhibition in Tehran was held at the Arte Gallery. Subsequently, he expanded his professional collaborations with galleries such as Aun, E1, Seyhoun, Saless, and Yeganeh.
The conceptual focus of Pakravan’s works centers on themes including contemporary humanity, the nature of Khorasan, literature and mythology, cultural narratives, and the intersection of tradition and modernity. His conceptual approaches have placed his works in an interactive space between reality and imagination.
