Hamid Fateh was born in 1972 in Yazd. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Painting from the Faculty of Art and Architecture at Azad University, Tehran, in 1997 and 2000, respectively. He held his first solo exhibition at Sa’dabad Gallery in Tehran in the early 2000s. In the following years, he showcased his works in solo exhibitions at Homa Gallery, Saless Gallery, and Yeganeh Collection in Tehran.

A recurring theme in Fateh’s work is the depiction of personal traumas, the representation of hidden emotions, and human experiences. Through the juxtaposition of pain and beauty, his paintings explore the complexities of human resilience.
