Farshid Mesghali studied graphic design at the University of Tehran. After the revolution, he emigrated to France where he was exhibited by Samy Kinge in 1970-1978, then to the United States, today he works in Tehran. Filmmaker, graphic designer, sculptor and photographer, he has won numerous prizes, exhibited among others at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, and solo at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. In this series of shots taken in the United States, the artist frees himself from questions of place and time, and composes fantastic stories.
