Amir Hossein Heshmati was born in Tehran in 1961. He began his photography career in 2008 with his first solo exhibition titled "Kanglan Tree" at Tehran's Vali Gallery. His first international experience took place in 2012 at London's Opera Gallery.
Most of Heshmati's works are centered around nature and its elements. By using techniques such as adjusting shutter speed and moving the camera, he captures fleeting moments of his subjects, focusing on the process of seeing and experiencing the moment. However, this approach is not present in all of his works; at times, he adopts a more landscape-oriented approach, capturing broad views of nature and its details.
